A space to breathe, and meet what's really going on.

Life gets difficult, unpredictable, and sometimes unbearable. Sometimes we know we want things to be different and have no idea where to start.
I offer a space to work out what's going on and to figure out what to do about it.

What I can help with
Anxiety
Racing thoughts, a body that won't settle, feeling on edge for no clear reason.
If you're exhausted by your own mind, this is where counselling for anxiety can help you feel steady again.
Confidence & Self-esteem
That sense that you're not enough, or that everyone else has it figured out and you don't.
Low self-esteem shapes relationships and how you show up in the world. We can work on that directly.
Burnout & Stress
Overload, exhaustion, losing motivation for a job you used to be good at.
Workplace and career counselling draws on my own years in HR, so I understand office politics and pressure as well as the emotional toll of it.
Difficult Relationships
A colleague who's impossible to deal with. A partner you're growing apart from. A friendship that's turned one-sided.
Relationship counselling can help you work out what's yours to carry, what isn't, and what you actually want to do about it.
Grief and Bereavement
Losing someone changes you. I know this from my own experience as well as my work with clients.
Bereavement counselling isn't about getting over it. It's about finding a way to carry it that doesn't flatten your whole life.
Support for Parents & Carers
Doing everything for everyone else while quietly falling apart yourself.
Whether you're raising children, caring for a parent, or both at once, counselling for parents and carers gives you a space that's just for you.
How we work together
Your first session is about getting a proper picture of where you are and what you want from this, nothing more. There's no test to pass. What we talk about stays between us. Some clients want space to think. Others want to be challenged. I ask what you need and we check in on that as we go, because it changes.
Our sessions are real conversations, not a script. What you see is largely what you get with me: kind, empathetic, honest, with some humour thrown in when it's needed. I hold the space for you, but I'll also invite you to look at things in new ways.
I generally won't tell you what to do or make decisions for you. I'll help you work through your options and the pros and cons. Sometimes I may offer a bit of theory, some practical strategies, or some reflection exercises to try out at home if it's useful.
Awareness on its own doesn't change much. Real change means practising something different, in the room and in your life outside it. That takes a bit of courage, and I'll be there with you as you do it, honest and on your side.
